I am an instructor who is passionate about teaching reading and art, and I bring my love of learning into each session.

I began my career in education in 1984. I have over 40 years of teaching experience. I have more than eight years of online teaching experience.

My teaching style promotes creativity. I believe in balancing flexibility with compassion to foster student growth and success. I have a Master of Education degree. I am certified as a teacher, a counselor, and an educational diagnostician.

I have also helped students world-wide improve their ESL skills.

30 minute group sessions are $11, with groups limited to four

30 minute private session are $20

60 minute group sessions are $22 with groups limited to four

At My Lesson Session Tutoring, we started with a simple idea: to make education accessible to everyone. We believe that education is a fundamental right and should not be limited by financial barriers. That's why we offer affordable and high-quality educational services to students of all backgrounds.

I completed my Master of Education in 1991, from East Texas State University, which became the Texas A & M University at Texarkana, in 1996.

Certifications

I have certifications from the State of Texas and also Louisiana.

Background Check

I believe that education is not just about what happens in the classroom. That's why I am committed to giving my students quality educational experiences.

As a requirement for teaching on various educational platforms, a background check is done periodically.

My background check was completed in April 2025.
